“The Westinghouse Fan Master Jr. Non-Metallic Support Box allows you to safely attach a lighting fixture or ceiling fan to a building's structural support, so the ceiling fan is supported by the joist, not the box. Perfect for new construction, the Fan Master can be used in applications where duct work or wiring is present. Designed with a 13.4-cubic-inch wiring capacity on only one side of the box, the Fan Master Jr. can be simply mounted to either side of a joist without having to split the wiring. You can install the Fan Master Jr. on standard joists as well as wider joist configurations where a saddle style box will not fit. It includes two knockouts for conduit or Romex, one Romex connector, and one Romex clamp. The Fan Master Jr. is UL listed for fixture support up to 150 pounds and ceiling fan support up 70 pounds. It has a two-hour fire rating. Fan Master Jr. comes with a Saf-T-Cap to protect bolts and wires during drywall installation and painting. Product reference number 02525.”

Designed for Easy Installation on Either Side of a Joist
With a patented design that provides additional wiring space on only one side of the box, the Fan Master Junior can be simply mounted to either side of a joist.

The Fan Master Junior comes complete with a Romex clamp and all necessary mounting hardware. Clips inside the box hold the screws during installation, and a Saf-T-Cap protects bolts and wires during drywall work and painting.

UL-Listed Support Box Works with All Models of Ceiling Fans
Featuring a 1/2-inch-deep electrical box with 13-13/32-cubic-inch capacity and two knockouts for Conduit or Romex, the Fan Master Junior works with any model of ceiling fan.

The Fan Master Junior is UL listed for fixture support of 150 pounds or less and fan support of 70 pounds or less. It has a two-hour fire rating, it meets or exceeds UL standards regarding exposed threads within the box, and it meets or exceeds NEC safety codes.
