“This Westinghouse Saf-T-Pan allows you to safely install your ceiling fan or light fixture. The pan's design provides secure attachment to a ceiling joist. Ideal for installation during new construction or remodeling.

The Saf-T-Pan features a heavy-duty, all-metal, 5/8-inch-deep electrical pan with 8-cubic-inch wiring capacity. To install it in a finished ceiling, simply mount the Saf-T-Pan to a ceiling joist through a hole large enough to fit the pan. The included Saf-T-Cap will protect bolts and wires during drywall installation and painting.

The Saf-T-Pan is UL listed to support fans up to 70 pounds and light fixtures up to 150 pounds. Dual mounting capability, includes 10-24 threads for heavier fans and fixtures, as well as 8-32 threads for cover plates and lightweight lighting fixtures. Westinghouse is a trusted, global brand. Ideal for installation during new construction or remodeling, the Saf-T-Pan can also be installed in finished ceilings through a hole large enough to fit the box. A Saf-T-Cap is included to protect bolts and wires during drywall installation and painting. The Safe-T-Pan's design provides secure attachment to an existing ceiling joist. The 5/8-Inch deep box with 8-cubic-Inch capacity features heavy-duty, all-metal construction, dual mounting capabilities, and two knockouts for Conduit or Romex. This box fits any model of ceiling fan–it is UL listed for fixture support of 150 pounds or less, and it is acceptable for fan support of 70 pounds or less. This item is bulk packed, with 48 per cut case.
